At Hyperframe Studio, we are committed to providing high-quality design services over a 3-month cycle. This Refund Policy outlines how refunds and cancellations are handled, including the conditions for cancellation during the first fortnight of the cycle and the commitment thereafter.

1. General Refund Terms

Our design services are offered on a 3-month commitment cycle. Refunds are only applicable under specific conditions as outlined below.

1.1. Cancellation During the First Fortnight

Cancellation Window: You may cancel your service within the first 14 days (the first fortnight) of a 3-month cycle.

Refund for Unused Time: If you cancel during this window, we will refund any unused design time remaining in the current billing week, prorated based on the time left in that week.

Remainder of the Cycle: After cancellation during the first fortnight, you will not be billed for the remaining 10 weeks of the cycle.

1.2. Commitment After the First Fortnight

No Cancellation: After the first 14 days of the 3-month cycle, you are legally committed to the remainder of the cycle. No refunds or cancellations are allowed for the remaining 10 weeks, and the full amount for the 3-month cycle must be paid.

Rendered Services: No refunds will be provided for any design work completed within the committed 3-month period after the initial cancellation window.

1.3. Satisfaction with Work

If you are not satisfied with the design work provided, we are committed to continuing to work with you to ensure the final product meets your expectations. However, dissatisfaction with the work does not entitle you to cancel or receive a refund after the initial fortnight.

2. Process for Cancellation and Refund

To cancel within the cancellation window and request a refund for unused time, please follow these steps:

1. Cancel via the Stripe customer portal: You can initiate the cancellation process through your Stripe customer portal during the first 14 days of the cycle.

2. Notify Us: After self-cancellation, notify us via email at refund@hyperframe.studio to request a refund for any unused design time within the current week.

3. Refund Calculation: Upon receiving your cancellation request, we will calculate the unused design time for the current week and issue a prorated refund.

4. Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days. Please note that depending on your payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account.

3. Commitment After Cancellation Window

Once the 14-day cancellation window has passed, you are committed to the full 3-month cycle, and no cancellations or refunds will be provided for the remaining 10 weeks. By continuing services past the first fortnight, you acknowledge and accept this commitment.

4. Force Majeure

In the event of a Force Majeure—such as natural disasters, wars, pandemics, government restrictions, or any other events beyond the reasonable control of either party—that prevents either party from fulfilling their contractual obligations, the client may cancel their service, provided that they notify Hyperframe Studio as soon as possible.

Refund for Unused Time: If a cancellation occurs due to a Force Majeure event, any unused design time within the current billing week will be prorated and refunded.

Commitment Waiver: The 10-week commitment beyond the first fortnight may be waived in cases where Force Majeure circumstances make it impossible for the client to continue with the service. Hyperframe Studio will assess the situation on a case-by-case basis and work with the client to resolve the matter fairly.

5. No Refunds for Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds for changes of mind once design services for a week have commenced or for services rendered within the 3-month commitment period, except as outlined above.
